Several serious medical situations kept Marlane Furbee McKenzie from attending our 55th reunion. In November complications piled up after injuries from a fall. She is looking forward to a healthy 2009 and our next reunion in 2013, which would be her first!

Dorothy Foster Napoli lives on Vashon Island (off Washington State). She is very active with aqua aerobics, working out, and her favorite pastime, yoga. We offer condolences to Dot, whose brother Greg died last year. She was able to visit Greg in Greece and have some good conversations just prior to his death.

Maryanne Wade Menk also missed our 55th because she cares for her husband, Jim, who needs around-the-clock care. Her mother died in 2008 at age 103 in the home where Mibs was raised in Union, NJ. She enjoyed a family Thanksgiving gathering that included her English grandson, a freshman at Duke University. Mibs promises to be with us in 2013.

Chatham, MA, resident Judy Axford McCoy met with Margie Maynard to form their own Cape Cod Skidmore Club. During the winter, Judy meets up with Ann Houston Conover, Pat Seymour Forstrom, and Ann Trainer Williams in Sarasota, FL.

We send our condolences to the family of Carol Theobald Shafer, who died in December. Theo brought the gifts of positive thinking, dynamics, and fun to us all.

Grace Ackerknecht Harrigan shared the sad news that her sister Sally Beekman McKeige passed away in 2005. There was a lovely memorial service for her in Manhasset, NY. We send Grace our condolences.
