Jill Holler Durovsik was named chair of the new Cancer Survivorship Research and Training Institute of the Wellness Community, an international nonprofit providing support, education, and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. The institute is slated to open in Philadelphia later this year. She turned to the institute in 1986 when lung cancer claimed the life of her mother, Jean. In 1992 Jill became a founding board member of the Wellness Community of Philadelphia (started by Connie Masciale Carino ’58) and serves on its national and international boards. Jill and her husband, Tom, joined other family members to create the Jean C. Holler Contemplation Garden in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.
