Georgette Blau married Yoav Guttmann on February 10, 2008, in Cedarhurst, NY. Bridesmaids included Claire Devine and Julie Leibowitz Schneyer.

Anna Shorenstein graduated from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, in 2007 with a doctorate in clinical psychology. Anna’s dissertation was on the experiences of people who witness aggression aimed at targets of workplace bullying and mobbing. She will begin her postdoctoral fellowship in outpatient psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael in September. She is ecstatic to be finished with her graduate training and working toward licensure as a clinical psychologist.

David Luks is owner of Deluxe Honeydrop drinks, which produces four flavors of honey-infused water. The impetus to start the company in 2006 was his diagnosis of testicular cancer. Fortunately, surgery completely removed the tumor, and David has been cancer-free ever since. After reading an article about the antioxidant and other benefits of honey, the former Pepsico employee had an epiphany. He and Steven Zimmerman co-founded Deluxe Honeydrop. Launched last October at a Boston trade show, the product (see www.honeydrop.com) is now available at all NYC-area Whole Foods Markets.

Jillian Butler Liner and husband Eric welcomed heir first child, Samuel, on July 9. Jillian is director of bird conservation for Audubon New York, and Eric is a producer at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Leah Jack, who is teaching in Santa Cruz, CA, has traveled over the last couple of summers to Brazil, Europe, Iceland, Hawaii, and Idaho. She hopes all the swimmers she knew at Skidmore are doing well.

Kelly Van Zile married Andrew Grusetskie on March 1, 2008. Kelly is an actor, producer, and executive communications coach. She and Andrew, also an actor, met when they performed together in Proof in 2002. Many Skidmore friends were there to celebrate their marriage: Rebecca Caban, Christine Collins, Katie Bradford Dillehay, Liz Thompson, Neela Vaswani, Jesse Blockton, Jason Brown, Marc Lesser, Darren Lilien, Alex Goldberg ’95, Matt Neely ’95, John Sloan ’95, Holter Graham ’94, and Allen Towbin ’94. The newlyweds live in NYC.

Markario Sarsozo was a producer for Season 1 of Make Me a Supermodel, Season 5 of Project Runway, and Season 2 of Make Me a Supermodel. All of the shows are on the Bravo network.

Brad Moody lives in Dubai, UAE, with wife Christy and daughters Olivia, 9, Hunter, 3, and Quinn, 2. Recently named an Apple distinguished educator, Brad teaches media technology at Sharjah Higher Colleges. He made a video documentary of students from Sharjah University on a field study, during which they retraced a traditional Bedouin camel caravan in a trek spanning the UAE. Students studied the flora and fauna and wildlife ecosystems. Brad is the recipient of numerous awards, including one at the Dubai International Film Festival in the short film/two-minute-movie category. This past fall, he attended the Adobe Max convention in Milan, Italy.

Diana Rarich completed her massage-therapy certification at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in December. She is pleased to announce the opening of Back to Center Massage Therapy, her practice in Lakewood, CO, and invites Coloradans to come on in ($10 off the first visit). Diana will keep her job as a school social worker by day and practice massage therapy part-time. She loves her new career addition, which focuses on sports and deep-tissue therapies. Diana has been doing bike tours in the summer. She also makes service mission trips and volunteers for diabetes camps. Find her online at www.backtocenter.massagetherapy.com.

Jens Ohlin, who holds a PhD and JD from Columbia, is teaching law at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He recently co-authored Defending Humanity: When Force is Justified and Why, and is a guest editor of a special issue on torture for the Journal of International Criminal Justice. He lives in Ithaca and Saratoga Springs.
