Inaugural exhibitions
SOS: Scenes of Sounds. Through the work of renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Barbara Kruger, Martin Kersels, Alan Rath, Bruce Nauman, Annette Lemieux, and Christian Marclay, SOS presents a multidimensional, interdisciplinary approach to sound’s place in the visual arts and contemporary culture.
Vik Muniz: A Retrospective. The most comprehensive museum survey of this New York–based photographer’s work, which has been included in the “2000 Biennial Exhibition” at the Whitney Museum of American Art, “New Photography 13” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and “Abracadabra” at the Tate Gallery in London.
Recent Acquisitions. A selection from the permanent collection, including newly acquired works by Philip Guston, Man Ray, Dorothy Dehner ’52, Nan Goldin, and many others.
