New on the board

Four alumni volunteers have joined the alumni association’s board of directors.

Robert Resnick ’88 begins a three-year term as vice president of outreach and board relations, succeeding Jeanne Shipp Waldinger ’68. A major in the U.S. Army, Resnick has been practicing law in Judge Advocate General offices for a decade. He is currently stationed in Charlottesville, Va. His alumni leadership has included five years as class president and a term on the board as reunion chair.

Jill Richardson ’92 will assume the title of chair of young alumni giving for the next two years, taking over for Spencer Goldin ’93. Richardson is pursuing an M.B.A. at Fordham University and working as a development officer for St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. She served as her class secretary for seven years and is a class agent.

The new chair of clubs, Josephine Leach Lewis ’57, is a former coordinator of English as a second language for City College of San Francisco. She fills the three-year post vacated by George Constant ’86. Currently class president, Lewis has also been a leader in alumni admissions and regional club activities.

Dale Conron Ahearn ’75 will fill the alumni trustee post formerly held by Pamela Schick Kelsey ’70. A school nurse, Ahearn resides in Ridgefield, N.J. She has served her class as president, treasurer, and FOP chair. The mother of Matthew ’02 (and the daughter of Margery VanSteeden Conron ’49), Ahearn is a member of Parents’ Council. —MM
