Ann Moses Douglas’s daughter Kitty Douglas ’88 has moved with her family from California to Cambridge, MA—which, Ann notes, “is quite a culture change. Kitty and husband Mark (a Dartmouth graduate) presented her parents with their ninth grandchild in January.

Virginia Marshall Firda and husband Nick love the retired life in Englewood, FL. Nick is an avid fisherman, while Virginia is an enthusiastic Sweet Adeline. The couple has nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

On a recent trip to Australia and New Zealand, Elizabeth Mutterperl Novick ran into Maggie Steele von Biel and husband Andre; they all had a great time.

Helen Schroth Ferguson and husband Raymond have six wonderful grandkids, ranging in age from 17 months to 12 years old.

We extend condolences to Nancy Miller Hetzel, whose husband, Frederick, died in September after a long illness.

Mary Howell Sawers credits Skidmore’s nursing program with giving her an excellent background that she continues to draw upon today as a volunteer for the American Red Cross Disaster Services.
