After a decade of adventures in China, Alaska, and Italy, David Wood is now a PhD candidate and research fellow in literary criticism at Purdue University. He married Victoria Scala in Chicago last spring. The nuptials were celebrated with friends Dan Brimberg ’94 and Andrew Smith and his wife, Kate.

After living more than seven years in the Czech Republic, Stacey Murr-Pistorova returned to the US in 2002 with husband Tomas and children Ben and Emily. The family lives in Toledo, OH, where Stacey works for Project ABC (Arts Bridging Culture)—a Kellogg grant–funded program that prepares at-risk children ages 3–5 for school, through an arts-based curriculum. She will begin graduate work in early childhood education and development at Toledo University this fall.

Amy Church Marinovic left a big NYC law firm job in March 2003 to start her own home-based law practice in Madison, NJ. “It was the best career decision I ever made!” she notes. Amy and husband Rob welcomed first child Henry in November.

Dave Murphy, Beth Steingard Murphy, and daughter Alex, 4, moved to Natick, MA. Dave was recently elected to the school committee there, winning by a large majority.

Tomas Elphick and wife Gwen have moved from Colorado to Rhode Island, where Gwen has a postdoctoral faculty appointment at a university. They are excited to be back near the ocean and have been spending time with Jeffery Ziter ’94.

Wendy Van Antwerp Frazier is “doing great in Breckenridge, CO.”

Russell Lynde was married in May 2003 and lives in the San Francisco Bay area, working for a hedge fund.

Michael and Jennifer Goldstock Wright live in Katonah, NY, with son Bennett.
