Bruce Burdge and wife Katherine live in Tampa, FL, with an 11-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, who keep them very busy. After years in the corporate world, Bruce “finally jumped into the deep end” and started his own company—Arcis Investments, a real-estate investment fund.

Bill Chesley is creative director and sound designer at Amber Music in NYC, where he works on advertising and movie projects. The father of Hank, 8, and Bea, 5, Bill claims to be “a bit heavier but still quite attractive.”

After closing the criminal defense practice she has enjoyed for seven years, Carrie Grady joined the federal public defender’s office in Richmond, VA, in June. She is excited by the change from a “way-too-busy” private practice to the slower pace of the public sector.

With children in tow, Susan Mroczynski Valentino and Liz Cowey LaCause met up in NYC in February, on opening day of The Gates installation in Central Park. Their five kids (ranging in age from 2 to 10) loved running and climbing all afternoon. But at the end of the day, the question “But why is this art, Mommy?” went unanswered.

Rayona Taylor Bennett recalls earning the “longest umbilical cord” prize at a Wait Hall event freshman year because she went home (to Troy, NY) every weekend! Since graduation, she has lived in NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Laguna Beach, CA, and now resides in St. Michael’s, a little town on the eastern shore of Maryland. “So I guess I finally cut the cord!” She is still adjusting to life as a stay-at-home mom of three. She enjoyed returning to campus for the dance alumni reunion in 2003 and was “amazed at how the campus had changed.”
