Ellen Hohmann works at a yarn-dying studio in Chicago, where she also freelances as a wardrobe assistant and costume designer.

Lisa Duff has lived in Los Angeles the last four years. She is an office manager for a vegan restaurant that opened in Studio City and can be contacted at lduff22@aol.com.

Michelle Griffith and Ross Aresco were married October 2 on Block Island, RI. They met during freshman year, when both were living on the third floor of Howe. Alta Boover, Brandon Duber ’01, and Rich Greeney ’99 were in the wedding party. Alta and Tony Montenieri sang during the ceremony and reception, respectively. Other alumni attending were Justin Arpey, Adam Cavise, Brian Geller, Melanie Lary, Bryan Marchinkoski ’01, Nora Moher, Jeb Pfeifle, Ned Watkins, and Nick Welz; Sarah Edwards ’02 was one of the wedding photographers. Skidmore guests also included Roberta Chramoff and Ron and Jenn Plourde. Ross and Michelle honeymooned on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. The honeymoon ended perfectly with the Red Sox winning the World Series. The couple lives in Erie, PA.

Damion Grasso and wife Jennifer are foster parents for a 16-year-old boy. Damion, who earned a master’s in psychology at Wesleyan University in 2002, is pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Delaware. He starts the four-year program this fall and welcomes hearing from classmates at damion.grasso@yale.edu.

Sara Dodson earned a master of architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and works for Centerbrook Architects in Connecticut. She loves it and says she employs things she learned in Skidmore’s theater department all the time.

Kaia Mahler lives in Queens, NY, where she is a fourth-grade teacher. She enjoyed seeing old friends at Reunion.

Former alumni-affairs student worker Lia Monteferrante earned an MBA from Dowling College in Long Island. She has since worked for several colleges, including St. George’s University in Grenada and Cornell. She is now an administrator in Elmira College’s development office. She notes, “For all who remember: Chris the kitty is better than ever.”

Justin Arpey joined the Atlanta-based law firm Davis, Matthews & Quigley PC, where he is an associate in the firm’s civil litigation practice. A cum laude graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, he lives in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.

I graduated from American University Law School in May and spent the summer studying for the bar exam. I have spent the past year working for Democratic senator Chris Dodd on education policy issues.
