Marcia Weeks Clayton and husband spent April in Bradenton, FL, where Marcia visited with Barbara Cox Schanz and Caryl Bruns Hutchens.

Barbara Hunt Burner is enjoying her grandchildren. She has returned to her schedule of swim meets and the children’s theater. In April she enjoyed perfect weather on a trip to Italy and Greece.

In January Mary Hamilton McLaughlin made a trip to Egypt where she and her niece had two weeks of “active sightseeing.” Their hotel room in Giza afforded a spectacular view of the three famous pyramids. At an early morning visit to the Great Sphinx the group was treated to the setting of the moon and a breathtaking sunrise. She also visited the Valley of the Kings, cruised the Nile, and spent time in Cairo.

Nancy Ashley Byrne is a proud, busy grandmother to grandchildren ranging in age from 2
to a college freshman. Her 12-year-old granddaughter’s hockey team competed at nationals
in Denver, CO. Nancy heard from Evelyn Smith and often visits with Sydney Barlett Tansi
and family.

A trip to Mexico resulted in the addition of 64 species in her birding journal for Cindy Wallace Bernart. She and Bill also visited the wintering grounds of the magnificent monarch butterfly.
