Alison Moore is executive director of the Boulder County Arts Alliance in Colorado. Daughter Caitlin graduated from Sarah Lawrence College last year.

Mary Titus Bashor, professor of English at St. Olaf’s College, authored The Ambivalent Art of Katherine Anne Porter, published by the University of Georgia Press last year. An examination of Porter’s “gender thinking” in the role of conflict between the artist and the traditional woman, the book was nominated for the Minnesota Book Award.
