Hilary Barnes graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in December with a bachelor’s in nursing. She lives in Philadelphia and is an RN in the emergency department at the Hospital of UPenn.

Suzanne Lipton Jacoby welcomed a second child, son Jack, in February.

Regan Eysman Franklin is a full-time student at George Mason, pursuing certification in teaching grades 6–12. She taught Sunday Hebrew school second-graders last year. She and husband Brian Franklin ’96 are hoping their condo will be built by the end of the summer. They recently added a kitten, Reese, to their family, which includes dog Mootsie. Regan keeps in touch with Marcie Simon, Josh Feuer, and Jolie Tuozzolo.

Tony Llano works for John Deere in Iowa and says things “are going well.”

Susan Rivers and Joe Jolly ’98 welcomed daughter Elisabeth in October and reports that “parenthood is amazing!” Last May Susan completed her PhD in psychology at Yale and is continuing her research there. The couple is moving to Ithaca, NY, where Joe will attend Cornell Law School this fall.

Elizabeth Buttrill Murray and husband John are physicians at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. He is a pulmonologist and she is a pediatrician.

Ian Varley lives in Austin, TX, with wife Jill, a book editor. He is playing a lot of music with his band, Drop Trio; he recently performed at the South by Southwest music festival and put out a new album. Ian is looking forward to returning to campus for the next Bandersnatchers reunion.

Tina Chan Sweenie left NYC and now lives in Milwaukee. Last June she married Brian Sweenie, who works at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Tina is director of partnership development at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee.

Sue Razzano graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in May. After taking the Illinois bar exam, she will work for Sidley, Austin, Brown & Wood in Chicago starting this fall.

In May 2005 Jesus Navarro married Carolynn O’Brien in West Orange, NJ. They met at the NYSC gym in 1999. Son Justin, born in November, is already a huge Yankee fan (says Jesus) and can’t wait to play baseball. The couple owns a small graphic design firm that Carolynn started about seven years ago in Caldwell. Jesus still has a number of loyal personal-training clients.

Alex and Jessica Parker Sherman welcomed son Samuel in September; he and brother Jacob keep the couple busy in Stamford, CT.

Allyson Montana and Matt Cobb were married October 14, 2005, in Kennebunkport, ME, in a vintage Halloween-themed wedding. They live in Portland, where Matt is a software developer and Allyson is a Chinese and social studies teacher. Also at the wedding were Jay Tors, Sara Vilkomerson, Noah Fisk, Joe Hayes, Eric Prensky, Mike Schreiber, Eric Wilson, Ed Zeizel, Jeff Badger ’98, Nate Hill, Lydia Paiste, Courtney Peterson ’96, and Megan White ’98.

Adam and Katie Bissell Brand ’99 announce the May 2005 birth of son Connor. Since graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004, Adam has been a public law and policy associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in Washington, DC. Katie is taking time off from her job at the National Trust for Historic Preservation to spend more time with Connor.

Rob Boyd joined Callisto Partners, a boutique investment bank headquartered in West Palm Beach, FL. He is involved in all aspects of raising capital, from financial analysis and due diligence to meeting with clients and potential buyers. Rob is a member of the Skidmore Business Network in NYC (www.skidbiz.com).

J. Carter Rose proudly announces the birth of son Tucker in October.

Jon-Erik Magnus lives in San Francisco, CA. He had a great time attending the wedding of sister Nancy Magnus ’99 and Roy Geiser ’98 (also present were Chris Geiser, Doug Gilmour ’00, and other Skiddies). Jon-Erik was fortunate to catch up with his “elusive” former roommate Tim Colleran and to have dinner with Fergie Wheeler ’98 in Boston. Jon-Erik finished his first 24-hour road relay (200 miles from Calistoga, CA, to Santa Cruz) this spring.

Lauren De Meules married Scott Daley on May 21, 2005. Laura Blumenberg Martorella was in the bridal party, and Rena Siwek, Lauren Engel, Liza Haas, Jessica Krause, Abby Alexander ’98, and Charlotte Pharr attended. Lauren and Scott honeymooned in Costa Rica and live in the San Francisco Bay area.

After an exciting preparatory trip to Mumbai, India, Tom Travison married Madhabi Mistry on September 18 in West Orange, NJ. In attendance were Sean and Suzanne Azara Foley, Michael Kovacic, Leila Joseffer, and Anna Williams. Tom and Madhabi live in Boston.
