Rebecca Blum lives in Saratoga Springs and is taking nondegree classes at SUNY Albany’s School of Social Welfare. She also does development and fundraising work for the Capital District food pantries.

Willa Fung Moore enrolled in medical school at Northeastern Ohio University’s College of Medicine. In June 2005 she married Michael Moore in Cleveland, OH.

Jessica Cunningham lives in the Hartford, CT, area with husband Partrick McBride of Quebec, Canada. She is enrolled at UConn, where she is working on a master’s in French. She is also teaching elementary-level language at the University of Connecticut.

Alex Bermel lives in Chappaqua, NY, and is a mental-health worker for children between the ages of 9 and 12 at the Four Winds Psychiatric Hospital in northern Westchester.

Yael Katz is attending Lesley University grad school, majoring in art therapy. She lives in Boston.

After graduation Rebekah Baranoff was up for another adventure, so she moved to southern California far from the cold winters of Upstate New York. She teaches at a private middle school in the San Fernando Valley.

Last September Gwendolyn Bluemich started graduate school at George Washington University, pursuing a master’s in international affairs with a concentration in economics.

In Georgia Christopher Twombly is enrolled at Argosy University, working on a master’s in clinical psychology. Next fall he starts his therapy practicum at Inner Harbour Hospital, working with children and adolescents who have a wide range of disorders.

For the past year, Laura Goldberg has been a substitute teacher in Binghamton, NY.

Kevin Wozniak is working at the American Institute for Foreign Study and doing a part-time internship with David Callahan at Demos, a NYC think-tank.

Lisa Mason lives in Cary, NC, where she is the Internet sales director at Michael Jordan Lincoln Mercury.

Sarah Etlinger is at Syracuse University, working on a master’s in English and teaching two courses for the writing program. She also works for the Huntington Learning Center, coordinating its summer reading program and “putting that junior great-books training to use!”

Kaitlin Morton-Ranney has spent the past year in East Lansing, MI, studying American studies at the graduate level at Michigan State University. She says she misses Skidmore and hopes everyone from 2005 is doing well.

Jennifer Marquis lives in Santiago, Chile, where she is an employer coordinator for a company that provides seasonal staff positions in the US for students from South America.

With the aid of his Skidmore portfolio, Jonah Lobe landed a job at Bethesda Softworks. He designs people, animals, and creatures in 3D, and then assists in the process of bringing them into the game world.

Christina McHugh is a research chemist at GE Global Research in Niskayuna, NY.

Michael Godlewski is working on a law degree at New England Law School.

Matt Rivers is continuing his baseball career in Belgium (see “People & Projects”).

Rachael Beard is living in NYC, working on the development team at Teach for America, and “loving the city life.” She is working with Anna Markowitz to start a not-for-profit called LinkEd, to bring together the many organizations working to overcome educational inequity and take the education movement to the next level.

Kathryn Wenzel is at Northeastern University for an MBA/MS in accounting. She graduates in August and has already been offered a full-time job at Vitale, Caturano and Company’s engagement resource group, doing audits and tax work.

Faith Towers is a portrait photographer in Chestnut Hill, MA. She has also designed a Web site showcasing her photographs: www.faithtowers.com.

Joshua Singer is a math teacher at the Charles E. Smith Jewish day school in Rockville, MD. He says, “I started in August and I adore it!”

As for me, I am at UPenn, working on a master’s in social work and heading up the newly formed Skidmore Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Alumni Association.
