Martha Parkes Kimmich has returned to her former, self-designed home high on a hill in Berkeley, CA, with spectacular views of the bay. If you’re in the area, Marti would be happy to hear from you.
Jo Schmidt Madden has it on good authority from campus that our 50th-reunion class gift participation holds the record! The same can be said for our enthusiasm, performance, and fun!
So, gear up now for our 55th in 2009!

Marcia Weeks Clayton spent a busy, happy holiday season visiting children and grandchildren before heading off for winter in Florida to see Barbara Cox Schanz and Caryl Bruns Hutchins. Marcia heard from Marly Deutsch Hoskins, who was seriously injured in a head-on automobile crash while on a trip with her husband to Alaska. Marly would love to hear from classmates; contact me for how to reach her.

Delsa Walsh Wilson and Steve put their historic Florida Keys home on the market. After 12 years in the area, living close to a son and his family, the couple is moving into a user-friendly home of universal design in Lexington, VA, to accommodate Steve, who has Parkinson’s disease.

It has been a difficult year for Patty Ide Williams, who lost husband Graham after 53 years of marriage. She says it’s been “good to hear from several classmates.”

Barbara Knecht Mest’s husband, David, passed away last spring. He had been ill with cancer for about two years. Sue Hopkins stayed at Barbara’s home that summer, and they went on a riverboat trip in France in October. Barbara is still doing a lot of art work.
