Bobbie Hayman Schwartz and husband Stan are driving around Italy seeing Assisi, Florence, and Siena and will end their trip in Venice. Bobbie is doing some sketching along the way.

Elaine Merola Canavan was traveling in Arizona and New Mexico this spring. She bought a house near Danbury, CT, and is making changes to it prior to moving in.

After several years of single life following the death of her first husband in 1991, Anne Dickson Ernst Wright married “Mr. Wright” in 2004. It was a very special occasion, with son Tom giving away his mom and daughter Liz serving as her only attendant. Husband Pete’s son was best man; Pete’s three daughters, all spouses, and 10 grandchildren cheered in the background.

Bev Beatson Grossman and Buster enjoyed a two-week trip to Japan with Williams College art museum fellows. In June they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

I was sorry to learn about Julie Green’s death (noted in the spring Scope). I will miss her contagious smile and her interests in people and life at Reunion.
