After time out to raise her family, Beatrice was appointed city historian in Saratoga Springs, NY. Over the years, she cofounded the city’s Historical Preservation Foundation, placing over 80 local buildings on the National Register. She also established the first city archives outside of NYC. As head of the committee to restore and preserve the Canfield Casino in Congress Park, Bea procured a grant to complete the project. She still lives in Saratoga Springs.
