Sarah Longley Kinney lives in Coos Bay, OR. She enjoyed a visit from Skidmore’s Lucy Crotty, with news of the college. “For a few moments I was back there as a freshman, with memories of friends, especially the late Pat MacPherson Fennessey, who left us much too soon at age 55.” At age 85, Sarah and husband Herb are still active in human-rights concerns and have a “wonderful addiction” to plants and gardens. Grandson Jon is a freshman at Lewis and Clark College.
Marion McClennan Prehn lives in Naples, FL.
Alice Mungall Porter is in the process of selling her home and returning to Corpus Christi, TX, to live in a senior-living facility. Kit is active with PEO, an organization of Christian women of all ages who promote education for girls.
Jean Purdy Daniels lives in Apple Valley, MN. Still playing bridge, she is happy to report that her brain “is still working.” She has two grandchildren living in Utah and another pair in California. In June, Jean and her daughter traveled to France, Jean’s third time there.
Jane Snedecor Herring lives near two casinos in Gales Ferry, CT (naturally she has to check them out from time to time). She and her daughter, who have both studied art for many years, spend much of their time painting.
Maxine Weingarten Donofrio has been selling real estate for 45 years, now in Old Westbury, CT. Previously, she and her family lived in Saratoga Springs, NY, where her son was a harness racer, competing there and in other locations. Maxine has two great-grandchildren.
We send condolences to Phyllis Hansen Edgcomb, whose husband, Harry, passed away in December. The couple had attended his Dartmouth 65th reunion a few months earlier. Phyllis says she’s “trying to adjust, but it doesn’t always work.”
