Carole Walter Maeder enjoyed a trip snorkeling in the Seychelles, a country with numerous granite islands and atolls in the Indian Ocean. She saw many varieties of fish, turtles, and eagle stingrays. She also swam with black-tip and lemon sharks. When they started getting up close and personal, she decided their teeth and curiosity were not in her best interest and returned to viewing tortoises. She recently had lunch with Joan Berejik and Ellen Judge Swanson in Bonita Springs, FL.

Sue Steele Isbell speaks to Linda Schilling Martine by phone and sees her when visiting grandchildren in Nashville, TN. Sue’s son Tucker was nominated for a Grammy for sound engineering. She and Bob visited Telluride, CO, and Normandy and Geste, France. Sue keeps busy with exercise, volunteer work, quilting, gardening, and investment and book clubs. Bob markets online medical transcription and helps practices transition to paperless records.

Carol Hochberg kept company in Michigan with a special friend as she died, then took time out on the slopes at Sun Valley, ID. She continues volunteering at the Legal Aid Society. Carol also cares for her mom and aunt. Her son plans to attend law school.

Karen Norvig Berry is involved with other Americans trying to stop the killings in Darfur, Sudan. She works with local residents to support state and national efforts to restore civil life in that war-torn country. She and husband Bill are participating in an Earthwatch expedition to Mongolia, to assist as working “tourists” with an environmental project on the desert-steppe.
Wendy Glass Severance and husband Scott retired to their home in the Glens Falls, NY, area—their 13th move!

Katie McDowell is practicing complex plaintiff civil litigation in Scottsdale, AZ, and recently became a partner in the firm Doyle-McDowell, PC. She would love to hear from classmates at kmcdaz@hotmail.com.

Sandy Koch Prior met me at the Philadelphia Flower Show in March to enjoy the display, have lunch, and compare notes.
