Janet Sangenito Fagal’s son Andrew is working on his PhD in history at SUNY-Binghamton.
Lelde Skipsna Muehlenbach’s son Atis was married in April 2007 on Mt. St. Helen’s. He traveled to the refugee camp on the Thai-Burma border for a malaria study. The couple returned to the US so that Atis could start a residency. Wife Clare, a public defender north of Seattle, bakes pies and puts up preserves.
Susan Necarsulmer Goldsmith and husband John took the Skidmore-sponsored tour of the Danube River and Habsburg Empire last June. They visited Budapest, Prague, Krakow, and Warsaw, as well as smaller towns along the way. Skidmore history professor Erica Bastress-Dukehart gave two excellent lectures while they cruised the Danube, and Megan Baumgartner-Mercier from alumni affairs was a delightful Skidmore host throughout the trip.
Condolences to Loralee Engelmann Strauss, whose mother, Alma Goldschmitt Engelmann ’45, died in October.
Deborah Fritts Palmer’s eldest daughter, Jennifer, was married in 2004 and gave birth to son Jackson last September.
