Sandy Ferguson-Farrell took a great trip in July to Cozumel, Mexico, with Lori Gedon and Wendy Barkin Lubetsky. She enjoyed perfect weather and even better company—a “girls-only” vacation “that only made me wonder when we can do it again!”

A “born-and-raised Garden State gal,” Lori Gedon (lgedon@yahoo.com) has permanently relocated to the Saratoga Springs, NY, area. It was part of a 10-year plan that finally came to fruition with the purchase of a beautiful house on 10 acres in Porter Corners, NY (about 15 minutes from Broadway). Her Skidmore pals came out and helped with the move. Wendy Barkin Lubetsky and Sandy Ferguson-Farrell were among friends who helped pack up Lori’s New Jersey home; Lisa Giordano Martel and Cookie Coyne, both Saratoga-area residents, spent two Saturdays helping Lori and husband Jim move boxes and furniture from storage units to their new home. “Buying the home of my dreams was far from an easy task,” says Lori. “It took almost two years due to numerous complications.” Lori moved in temporarily with Gail Capobianco and her husband, John Michael Caldaro, for four months last fall while the difficult purchase was underway. Peggy Bresnick was also a great support. Adds Lori, “You can count on your loyal Skidmore friends to be there for you when you need them!”
