Attorney Jeremiah Frei-Pearson is representing the Children’s Rights organization in a federal lawsuit against the State of Oklahoma foster-care system, alleging numerous cases of neglect and abuse. The suit was the subject of a front-page article in the April 16 issue of the New York Times.

Eric Thomas lives in Manhattan and works in commercial real estate, as a director at Staubach Inc.

Last summer NYC resident Jenn Wolf (jennmwolf@gmail.com) worked for Baker Tilly International in London (her second time there for employer Eisner LLP in Manhattan).

Robin Martin and Doug McKenna were married last September 29 in Bethany Beach, DE. They met in London, where they were roommates during their semester abroad. Skidmore friends attending the wedding included Samantha Kipling Ainsworth and husband Alex, Sarah Kipnes Bloch, Matt Guskin, and Nina Rich ’99. Robin is program director for regional operations at the National Parks Conservation Association in Washington, DC; she can be contacted at rmartin@npca.org.

Dave Kovall married Heather Taylor over Memorial Day weekend in Sharptown, MD. They live in Brooklyn. Dave is working in marketing and sales for Zoom Media & Marketing.

Crista Cavicchio lives in Somerville, MA. Last year she earned her certification as a special-ed teacher and is now working toward her independent social-work license. She is a bilingual outreach family counselor in the Boston area and keeps in weekly contact with Jessica Zambarano in Charlestown and Elaine Boyd ’01 on Beacon Hill.

Jennifer SanFilippo and Jamie Aaron Brown were married in Wailea, HI, on April 18. Jennifer is director of branded entertainment for reality programming at NBC Universal in NYC. Her husband is director of the technical solutions group of the North American unit of the Colt Telecom Group (a British company), designing data communications networks. He graduated from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Aaron Simon completed a master’s in sustainable international development from Brandeis. He lives in Berkeley, CA, where he is program communications manager for the Seva Foundation, a Berkeley-based NGO started by activists Ram Dass, Wavy Gravy, and members of the Grateful Dead. The organization works to solve issues of poverty around the world.

Andria Kolesnikoff has been living in Nicaragua since 2006, working with MILAVF, a children’s-rights organization that offers free extracurricular classes in arts and crafts and dance. She teaches English and helps sponsor programs such as chess tournaments and soccer leagues.

Aaron Pikcilingis and Laura Burnes returned from a delayed “honeymoon” trip (a year-plus after their wedding) to Bhutan and Thailand. While enjoying the fabulous sites they saw Nudhapol Asavabhokhin, who lives in Bangkok. After their long trip on the other side of the earth, Dan Mortara was there to greet them at the airport upon their return.

Kevin Shenoy (binaural02@hotmail.com) spent a week in Mexico with Kate O’Rourke Storm ’02 and her husband and Don Vogelzang ’02 and his wife. Kevin has been busy working at a French investment bank and performing stand-up comedy.

In October Andrew Barnes completed a PhD in clinical psychology. He and his significant other are moving to Portland, OR, to live, work, and climb.

I myself am living and working in Manhattan as a litigation paralegal.
