Sonnabend show on tap

A major exhibition of contemporary art is now being organized at the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery. From Pop to Now: Selections from the Sonnabend Collection will run June 22–September 29.

For more than half a century, international gallery owners and art collectors Ileana and Michael Sonnabend have been a seminal force in the contemporary art world. From Pop to Now will be the most comprehensive survey of their legacy ever shown, featuring some 100 works by forty-five artists, including Andy Warhol, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Jeff Koons, Robert Morris, and John Baldessari.

Conversations with the artists, lectures and symposiums, family activities, and other events are also scheduled. Watch for more news in future issues of Scope.
