Gala guests
Trustee Dale Conron Ahearn 75, P 02, joins with Garret and Suzanne Cahill Sayia 71, and their daughters Stephanie 99 and Whitney, at the Friends of the Presidents dinner held in New York City this fall. Some two hundred FOP-level donors and guests, a record number, attended the recognition event this year. Reunion classes were particularly well represented, including six alumni of the Class of 67, seven from 62, and eleven newly minted FOP members from the Class of 02. Among the speakers was French professor John Anzalone, the first recipient of Skidmores Ciancio Award in teaching, who discussed the close connections between faculty and studentsand proudly pointed to many of his former students in the audience. Musical entertainment was provided by students in the opera class of faculty member Anne Turner.
