Jeanne Battey Thomson

Agnes Compton Stierwald is enjoying life at Heatherwood on Cape Cod, MA. She has substituted swimming for tennis and golf, and hopes to get back to her watercolors soon. She has plans to go to NYC to celebrate the 200th anniversary of St. James Church, where husband George was associate rector many years ago. Agnes exchanges frequent visits with her children and grandchildren.

Betty Stilz Weiss’s family had a reunion at the Ridgewood, NJ, home of sister Anita Stilz Boyle ’39. To add a bit of fun, the participants (from five states) rode on top of a double-decker NYC sightseeing bus.

Fifty-two members of Jane Fennell Donovan’s family gathered for a reunion in June. They had such good time that they’re already planning next year’s gathering, which will include Jane’s eighth great-grandchild, born in July. Jane still gets out on the golf course three times a week and plays 27 holes on Fridays.

Charlotte Maxson Moore says it was “a privilege” to celebrate her 25th year as a docent at the Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Garden in San Marino, CA.
Our sympathy to Betty Blaikie Terwilliger, whose husband, Bob, passed away.
