Seeing all the mature landscaping and new buildings, Becky felt like “a familiar stranger.” Both girls loved Skidmore (thanks to a great student guide) and the city of Saratoga—which they considered “happening,” as it was so crowded with track visitors. Becky observes, “Life as a Midwest housewife continues to be the most fabulous job ever.”
