Cynthia Dawson Hoff was on campus in August when daughter Alexandra, 17, attended Skidmore’s Summer Flute Institute. She reports that the campus looked great and was bustling with activity, as was Saratoga. Cynthia’s husband, John, is trading bonds at Refco. The couple lives in Mountain Lakes, NJ, with their four offspring—including JJ, 15, Victoria, 12, and Gregory, 10—who keep them extremely busy with “the usual crazy school and activities schedules, and some with their teenage attitudes.” Cynthia enjoyed seeing Vicki Salvo Bruce, who was visiting her sister and brother-in-law (Catherine Salvo ’90 and Peter Harris ’90), who live in Mountain Lakes. According to Cynthia, Vicki looks absolutely the same, and lives in Rhode Island with her husband and five children. Cynthia welcomes hearing from classmates at cynhoff@aol.com.

Kenny Zankel married Anna Veyna on June 13, 2003, in NYC. After a honeymoon in London and Paris, the newlyweds settled into a new loft in downtown San Francisco.

In September Patricia Griffin was appointed VP and general counsel of the American National Standards Institute, a private not-for-profit that administers the US voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system. She previously was a litigation partner with the NYC-based office of King and Spalding.

In Saratoga Springs Bobbie Lucas, a home renovations designer and decorator, opened Welcome Home-Välkommen Hem, a store specializing in Swedish and American antiques, architectural salvage, Oriental rugs, and design services. She says, “This store is my passion…the place where I show my love for my Swedish heritage and my appreciation of beautiful design.” Check it out at www.welcomehem.com.
