Vicary Graham was appointed president of the private wealth-management group in Massachusetts for the Mellon Financial Corp this past fall. She has been with Mellon for more than 20 years, most recently serving as managing director of private wealth-management sales for New England. She is also chair of the board of the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Last March David Schaffer and wife Nancy Wagner Schaffer ’83 moved into a new house in Clifton Park, NY. Daughters Helena, 5, and Lily Jane, 3, now each have their own bedroom. The girls attend Little Ones Child Care, where Nancy is office manager. David “daylights” as a ticket and reservation agent for Ticketmaster and ReserveAmerica in Ballston Spa, NY, while continuing to pursue writing, editorial, and media projects. He welcomes contact from other alumni in publishing and media at Davidsfr@yahoo.com.

Although Sarah Brewster Joy left Skidmore after her freshman year, she claims it was “an important one.” She studied Latin at Columbia University, where she earned BA and MA degrees before moving to Europe for a time. She returned to NYC to work in investment banking in order to fund a long-held dream of attending medical school. She is now a second-year student at the University of Utah Medical School. She says she feels “like a kid and am enjoying every moment of it!” Sarah welcomes hearing from Skidmore pals at sarah.joy@hsc.utah.edu.
