Michele Forte lives in San Francisco, CA, where she is senior director of development for CARE, an international nonprofit humanitarian organization. “I love working in a field that takes me to visit other cultures,” she says.

Frits Abell ’94 ran into Newell Nussbaumer during a trip home to Buffalo, NY. Newell has garnered considerable publicity recently for his efforts to revitalize Buffalo—including the launch of a new daily online magazine Buffalo Rising, which originated as a blog (www.buffalorising.com).

At Reunion Ken Freirich received an Outstanding Service Award for his many contributions as a volunteer over the past decade. A former member of the alumni board, he serves as class president and president of the Skidmore Club of Philadelphia.
