Lee Rosenberg Martinez, husband Lou, and daughter Ali spent their summer vacation in Canada at the summer home of Lauren Girard Adams, husband Rob, and children Charlie and Caroline. Joining them were Michelle Gagne Correll, husband Rich, and their boys Brian and Josh. Jenny Thornton Wieland and husband Kevin were also on hand.
Amy Ritz Drescher is a freelance writer and public relations director for two technology companies. She recently added the title of marketing director for moonriverpearls.com, an online pearl jewelry store owned by Hanna Cashman Calcagni’s dad. All Skiddies can enter SKD100 at checkout and get 15% off. Amy’s sons Sam, 10, and Henry, 8, are doing great. She would love to hear from old friends at adresch@snet.net.
This past summer Liz Brown married Hartmann Schoebel near Los Gatos, CA. They spent the summer traveling in eastern Europe and then moved to southern California where she is in her first year as a doctoral fellow in policy analysis at the Pardee RAND Graduate School in Santa Monica.
In May Michelle Stone started a new job as a digital project manager in the marketing services division at Earthlink in Pasadena, CA. Cast in Earthlink’s fall ad campaign, Michelle had a few lines and got to dance in a widely televised commercial.
Leigh Niles and Matt Reason were married last spring. Sister Molly Niles ’95 and Christina Andrews Worrall were bridesmaids, and Lisa Freeman Baskin ’98 read at the wedding. Leigh and Matt honeymooned in Tahiti for two weeks. They live in Studio City, CA, where Leigh is the senior editor of Los Angeles Citysearch.com and appears on a biweekly segment on the ABC 7 News, showcasing fun things to do around the city.
Mike Berger, wife Rebekka, and son Zach, 5, moved to the Bay Area from Boston last June. While they were settling into their new home jobs, Mike found it to be “quite a transition.” If anyone would like to reconnect, Mike’s e-mail is mike_berger@mac.com.
Amy Samson and Wes Flinn announce the birth of son Auden, who arrived on his great grandmother’s 100th birthday. He joins sister Lyra, 3, making their home “a lively place to be.” Amy and Wes live and work in Eugene, OR, where they are public-school educators.
While traveling to Baltimore on business, Scott Bornstein met up with Stephen Doff and wife MaryLynn. Fun was had by all at one of Charm City’s best Italian restaurants, Chiapparelli’s. The Doffs love living in suburban Baltimore and look forward to hearing from classmates passing through.
Lisa Sheer Zenack and family moved into a new home in Mansfield, MA, just two doors down from their previous residence.
Kristin Carbone Grosso and Chris Grosso ’89 announce the arrival of daughter Caroline on April 19 in Saratoga Springs. She joins her brother Nicholas, 2. Kristin stays busy operating her company, Sport Equine Marketing. Chris works at Kerschner Grosso Inc., a wealth management firm in Saratoga Springs.
