Jon-Erik Magnus (jonerikmagnus@yahoo.com) celebrated his second year living in San Francisco, CA, and is “still having a great time.” Some of the highlights of 2005 were witnessing sister Nancy Magnus ’99 and Roy Geiser ’98 tie the knot this past summer, and attending Roy’s South Carolina bachelor party with Chris Geiser, Doug Gilmour ’00, Keith Wallach ’00, Jarrod Lynn ’99, and John Preston ’99. Jon-Erik also caught up with his former roommate, “the elusive” Tim Colleran and had dinner with Fergie Wheeler ’98 on a recent trip to Boston, MA. Jon-Erik completed his first 24-hour road-race relay, biking 200 miles from Calistoga, CA, to Santa Cruz.
Kirsten Bassion married Ron Mooney in Marblehead, MA, on October 8. Kirsten and Ron met while graduate students at Rochester Institute of Technology. Both 2004 RIT graduates, Kirsten received an MFA in ceramics, and Ron earned an MBA. In attendance at their wedding were Heather Hurst, Schuyler Stoddard Bogel, Carolyn Anderson Robertson, and Karen Thurrell Gledhill. The newlyweds live in Wakefield.
Jonathan Rumble and wife Evelyn welcomed son Dashiell on August 22; Noah Lewis happily accepted the role of godfather.
Courtney Phibbs and Rob Boyd were married September 24 in Courtney’s hometown of Perrysburg, OH. Lindsey Phibbs ’02, Vanessa Mann, Megan Moshontz Udelson, Sara Vilkomerson, Caroline Cardone, Jonathan Rumble, Noah Lewis, and Stowe Burke were all in the wedding party. Jeyran Abtahi ’98 did a reading. Rob Caldwell, Peter Master, and Aaron Cohen were on hand to celebrate, along with Patty Hagendorn ’99 and Skidmore equestrian team coach Cindy Ford. Courtney and Rob live in Wellington, FL.
Amy Natale married Mike Tricoli on July 16. In attendance were bridesmaid Lisa Elisofon Booth and Brenna Cohen. Amy is a school psychologist in Winchester, MA, and Mike works in clinical research at Boston Scientific Corp. They live in Watertown.
This fall in Westford, MA, Emily Greenwood exhibited photos she took during her two-year stint as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bangladesh. She teaches art history at Montserrat College of Art and Salem State College.
