Jennifer Joseph was married to Kyle Perry in Saratoga Springs on October 15. Erin Heggerick and Kyla Piercey were in the wedding party, and Alyssa Casden provided a reading. Other alumni attending the ceremony were Marisa Behnke, Jennifer Bloom Klein, Jason Brown ’00, Stacey Brownstein ’00, Bill Caleo, Alex Coon, Stan Maragos, Lindsey Pope, Emily Rogovin ’00, and Brandon Wagner. The couple lives in Saratoga Springs. Jen is VP of community development at the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, and Kyle is assistant VP at Century Health Capital Inc.

Luis Alicea is community development coordinator in residential life at the College of Holy Cross. He looks forward to hearing from classmates in the Worcester or Boston area at luis091177@hotmail.com.

Katie Roberts Cunningham is working to improve foster care in Connecticut. She and husband Rob and live on the beach in Madison, CT, which they thoroughly enjoy. Son Graham is a year old.

Last May Lani Radack graduated from Wheelock College with a master’s in language and literacy. She is a kindergarten reading specialist and English Language Learner teacher in Lawrence, MA. Lani attended the wedding of Cara Lapenas, where she also saw Dan Fitzpatrick.

Allison Prouty is associate artistic director of V-Day: A Global Movement to End Violence Against Women and Girls. Allison feels privileged to serve as associate producer on Eve Ensler’s The Good Body’s national tour. She enjoys working with Tony Montenieri ’00 at V-Day. Kate Schuster married Lawrence Kennedy on April 16. She also helped celebrate the wedding of Channon Brant and Robert Champ last February 26. Both weddings were attended by Elisa Freeman Smith, Elyse Shulman, Arielle Low, Sabrina Hirachian, Nina Ritch, Theresa Sundlin ’98, Rene Federico ’98, Tina Feld ’98, Andrew Herman, and Adam Citron.

Sara Sloper married Matt Sokolowski ’98 in October 2003 at Hancock Shaker Village in western Massachusetts. Since then Sara and Matt got a dog, bought a house in Seattle, WA, and, most recently, had a baby—Madelyn was born last June 22. Matt started his own graphic design business (Bullvision.com) in 2004, and after four years of running a swim school, Sara is currently a stay-at-home mom. Sara and Matt both volunteer for the nonprofit Wild and Scenic Institute, which helps take disadvantaged children into nature.

Erica Wolfe Turzak is a manager of new ventures and business development for Babies R Us. She would love to hear from classmates at turzake@toysrus.com.

John Miller married Rebecca Foley on September 4 in Worcester, MA. John is an attorney at the law offices of Thompson & O’Connor LLC in Meriden, CT. Rebecca, who holds a master’s in public health from UMass-Amherst, is a science teacher. The couple met in 2001 while both studying abroad at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Wedding guests included Will Beery ’98, Randy Miczek ’99, Matt Miczek ’94. Peter Miller ’89 was best man, and Mary-Carol Towe Miller ’56 was mother of the groom. The couple lives in western Massachusetts.

Zachary Aria is an associate in intellectual property and technology law in the Philadelphia office of Blank Rome LLP. He received a JD from New York Law School.

Keith Friedman married Kristen Van Erk on Long Island in August. Jason Strochak was best man, and Tommy Jin ’98 was a groomsman. Todd Swedock ’98 and Stan Maragos were also present.

After a year of teaching preschool at the Sandpoint Waldorf School, Elissa Fletcher is now counseling teenagers at an emotional-growth boarding school in Hevon, MT. Nestled in the Cabinet Mountains, Elissa enjoys hiking, dancing, and yoga. Last summer she connected with Kylee Allen, who is teaching kindergarten for her fourth year in Panajachel, Guatemala.

Brian Petroski was commissioned to paint a ski and snowboarding mural within the bar area of the Whiteface Mountain Lodge in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. Kelley Steckevicz Schupak and husband Ben announce the birth son Samuel on March 12. The family lives in Arlington, VA.

Eve Elektra Cohen lives in Manhattan with Tundra, her husky dog, while writing music, working at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and studying for veterinary school.

Katie Cunningham Wilker and husband Rob christened son Graham at Trinity Church in Boston in November 2004. Roysin Billet and Chrissy Schell were there to share the special event.

On August 7, 2004, Amy Steele and Ken Dunbar ’00 were married in Old Lyme, CT. They celebrated with many of their Skidmore friends, who Amy says “sacrificed a weekend at the Saratoga racetrack to be there.” Amy’s bridesmaids included Alana Madden and Kelly Watson ’00. Kenny’s groomsmen included Scott Toth ’00 and Jerry Swon ’00. Other Skidmore alums in attendance were Jess Balch, Kristin Finnerty, Kim Sweet, Sarah Andrus, Shannon Foster, Rob Daley, Hans Beyer, Seth Dubrow, Dave Wronowski, Jaimie Moore, John Tenofsky, Alonzo Clarke, Mara Shuman ’92, Liz Ginns, Anne Escher ’98, Brian Culkin ’01, Matt Stanger ’00, Justin Weber ’00, Craig Roser ’01, Hunter Marckwald ’01, and Vanessa Raptopoulos ’00.

In Madison, CT, Nina Levenduski is the proud adoptive parent of an Australian cattle dog mix from a local shelter. Her new pup accompanies her on daily walks and hikes and keeps her very busy with endless energy. Nina has joined the board of directors of a local Audubon Society chapter and the Madison Land Conservation Trust.

Last fall Melanie Zalman McDonald and husband Chris relocated to the Monadnock region in southern New Hampshire. “Seeking a slower, more fulfilling pace, we left secure jobs in Connecticut behind to find ‘a little slice of heaven’ up north,” states Melanie. She was recently recruited by the Sharon Arts Center to manage its Fine Craft Gallery in Peterborough. Chris is employed at Keene State College. They welcomed Duncan, a Lab-beagle mix adopted from the Humane Society, into the family.

Shauna Stovell teaches fifth grade in Ridgewood, NJ.

Kim Sweet graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a physician assistant last May.

On November 13, 2004, Lauryn Silverhardt married Jason Tuchman at the Meadowlands Country Club in Blue Bell, PA. Stephanie Sayia Walsh and Niki Michaelson Baumer ’00 were bridesmaids. Alyssa Casden, Elissa Schpero, Brian Epstein ’01, Greg Liss ’93, and Jake Densen ’08 were also there.

Rachel Stieglitz Clark and husband Mark live in Philadelphia, where Rachel is a campaign associate at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Mark is completing the US Navy’s seaman-to-admiral program at Villanova University.

After a fun-filled year cheering for the Fighting Irish, Erica Wolf is happy to report that she graduated in May 2004 from Notre Dame’s MBA program. That summer Erica married Eric Turzak in Sonoma, CA, which kept her from attending Reunion. Erica works in business development for her family’s firm in NYC and would love to hear from classmates at ewolf@payomatic.com.

Mariel Walls married Thomas Bentley on October 14 in Kiawah, SC, according to her grandmother, Marjorie Yetter Walls ’33. Mariel works at an advertising firm.
