When the fall foliage was at the height of its glory, Betty Noyes McMath called to report on the
state of the Class of 1947 Memorial Garden on Skidmore’s campus. She described white alyssum that forms an edge around lovely yellow perennials. What luck for us that she is able to keep our garden in such fine fettle.

Betty McMath, Jeanne Clements Roth, Mia McCoy Mouzon, and Do Dunkel Jerman spent Celebration Weekend (October 13–15) at Skidmore making exciting plans for our 60th reunion
next year. As details emerge, you’ll be informed, but plan ahead now—a really good turnout would be something to remember in our dotage.

Sylvia Watkins Allen took time out from touring on Google Earth, her newest hobby, to meet with Gil and Betty Harlow as they passed through Barre while admiring scenic Vermont.

Joan Schimpf Root and husband Stan sold their house and moved earlier than usual to their
winter quarters in Naples, where they plan to stay until their new retirement apartment is ready. This year, so far hurricane-free, should be a good time for the transition.

Claire Reese Burrill still enjoys traveling with friends and family in Pasadena, CA.
