Alice Ziegler Bomer reports from the Berkshires that she has curtailed her travels. Her daughter Sharon and family, however, traveled to France. Alice’s other daughter, Sally, supervised 12 college students on a trip to Vienna, Austria. Alice celebrated Steve’s 80th birthday in the spring with the whole family.

Dottie Schaap Adler spends her days at doctors’ appointments, with a little golf in between. She
has become a snowbird and is heading to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, for four months. Her oldest granddaughter graduated from Tulane; another is a sophomore there.

Eleanor Rao Witthoefft reports that she has beat cancer! She lives in Sarasota, FL, where she is a traffic-safety team aide.

Joan Paxton Jameson’s son is finally out of Afghanistan; his first child was born while he was stationed there.

Phoebe Fox Liss is retired and living in the Binghamton, NY, area, where she takes classes via
the Lyceum Program at Binghamton University and is active with the League of Women Voters.

Mary Mitchell Durland is a successful children’s book author and illustrator. She had several
books signings this November.

Ruth Gold West moved to White Horse Village retirement home in Newtown Square, PA.
She taught 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-graders this summer at her church.

Ann Lilley Smith recently returned from a Caribbean cruise with two granddaughters.

I tried to play some tennis just before Labor Day and either tripped or lost my balance, falling and breaking my pelvis. I was flat on my back for three weeks, then on the walker, and now back on
my feet again. Grandsons Neil and Jimmy have been helping me close up the beach house.
