Joan Stevenson Brennan’s son Clay was elected superior court judge in Mendocino County, CA. (Joan herself is a retired US magistrate.) Joan had a spring trip to Japan and took a summer
cruise to the Baltic countries, ending with six days in Russia. Lech Walesa and Mikhail Gorbachev and current political figures in Latvia, Estonia, and Finland were among the lecturers she heard and met.

Connie Kellert Goldstein spent a summer week with children and grandchildren on Martha’s Vineyard in early celebration of husband Don’s 75th birthday in October.

Evelyn Smith is still in good health, playing tennis and staying active; she spends at least four months a year at her lake place near New Hartford, CT.

Having retired, Pat Kennedy Snyderman can now enjoy midweek visits to Peconic Beach and “catch up on chores and fun things” in New York City. In Manhattan she remains active in planning events for the Skidmore Club. She was the inspiration behind an evening for new
parents, giving them a chance to meet one another before heading to campus for the annual Celebration Weekend in October. Pat sees Edyth Kopman Tomkinson from time to time on visits
to the Hamptons.

Patricia DuBois McIsaac volunteers at Brookgreen Gardens in Pawleys Island, SC, and is starting to paint again.

Here at the Wilcox manor, we were delighted by an August visit from Marcie Clausen Gray and Woody. We enjoyed a good catch-up over lunch. As the Grays head to Long Island every summer for a two-week beach sojourn, this could become an annual treat!
