On the faculty at the University of Texas at El Paso, Michele Goldzieher Shedlin conducts international public-health research and mentors junior investigators. She stays in close touch with great-aunt Lucy Arnoti ’34, who keeps her up to date on Skidmore.

After 34 years in Cambridge, MA, Linda Gilford Mclntosh moved across the river to share a
new condo in Brookline’s Coolidge Corner. Because she’s in walking distance of all the city conveniences, she hardly uses her car at all. She is developing models of roles that retired nurses might fill in the Cambridge Health Alliance. She also translates patient education and staff materials into “plain English.” One of her children is an architect in Portland, OR; the other is
a software entrepreneur in Buenos Aires.

Photographer Diane Burko continues having exhibitions and published a book, Shadow Under
the Shadow.

Carolyn Bates tells us that for years she has been looking for that perfect summer house with a
view of the sun over the lake; she finally found it on Highland Lake in Maine. She enjoys the company of her dog, Lady Dickens.
