Nancy Trapp Perlson accepted the 2005 Land Heritage Award from the Maine Coast Heritage
Trust on behalf of the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust. This is a regional trust that has helped conserve more than 12,000 acres—including 40 miles of lake and river frontage—in its first 15 years of operation.

Sheila Barry Lockwood, Brownie Eaton Roe, Anne Harvey Grote, and I gathered on Cape Cod in August for another wonderful session of “Camp Cotuit,” hosted by counselor extraordinaire Carol Curran Lyall. Featured activities included the annual picnic at Sampson’s Island, sculling lessons, clam digging, and lots of laughing and reminiscing. A good time was had, and we missed the others who usually attend.
