Anestis Symeonides and his family moved into to a new three-story house last year. Daughter Alexia graduated as valedictorian from the American Community Schools of Athens, Greece. At Cornell she is majoring in physics and engineering and aspires to a career in cultural monument restoration. Daughter Anastasia, 12, attends the American Community Schools and is a budding writer, storyteller, and avid environmentalist. Anestis’s wife, Sophie, and Anastasia accompanied Alexia to Cornell and took the opportunity to visit family in Seattle. They loved the Northwest and Seattle surroundings.
