In September Donna McNally Woods and husband Brian celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary touring California: Carmel and Big Sur, Napa for wine tasting, and the coast via a Harley Davidson. In San Francisco they had dinner with Sarah Weck, husband Peter Cooper-
Ellis, and daughter Alison. Donna says, “We are still enjoying southern living” outside Orlando, FL, with children Jacquelyn, 10, and Brendan, 7. She is regional business manager for Embarq, and Brian is a deputy sheriff for Seminole County.

This fall Valerie Acquaviva Maio and husband Peter welcomed daughter Marisa; she joins
brothers Matthew and Jake. Valerie teaches ballet at the Jamaica Plain School of Dance.

Greta Salathe Mills’s daughter Sage, 15, is beginning to look at colleges (Skidmore is on her list!). A “passionate” oboist, she has played in All-State and sung in Jazz All-State performances for the past two years (in 2006 she placed first in the state for both). She is also a fine student and field-hockey player. Greta’s son Eli, 13, is an 8th-grader and plays upright and electric bass. He is interested in engineering and placed first in the state in mathematics for the Johns Hopkins
Talent Search. He has a brown belt in karate and plays soccer. Greta is in her sixth year of
teaching mathematics at Hanover High School, where she created a course for students who
have completed calculus that focuses on a variety of modeling scenarios and techniques. In the international modeling contest sponsored by CoMAP, Greta’s teams have placed quite well. Her husband of 16 years, Ernie, is still teaching music, and has the bonus of having both kids in his school.

Former Skidmore lacrosse player John Friedman is playing in a Wall Street lacrosse league for
the team of his employer, Merrill Lynch, where he is an anti-money-laundering specialist in the office of general counsel.
