Ronnie Brody Raab and Ed set sail on a catamaran that serves as the mother ship for a group of eight travelers also willing to kayak, hike, and snorkel over an eight-day holiday in the Galápagos Islands. In November Ronnie gave a talk on appraising personal art and furnishing collections at the Puck Building in NYC.

Sue Warren Campbell traveled to Providence, RI, Plymouth, MA, and Syracuse and Rochester, NY, this past summer. Sue, who underwent a hip replacement in October, says she is generally in great shape, although her joints are deteriorating.

Susan Henderson Hendrix’s daughter Pam Post wrote to inform us that her mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, now lives at Kendal at Hanover in New Hampshire. Last spring Pam organized an exhibit of her mother’s artwork, collages created from 1987 to 2001, at Kendal. She also presented a screening of a lecture Susan gave in 1994 describing her work.

Ellie Boughner Axford thanks everyone for their notes of condolence following the death of her son, Eric. Ellie is busy with two part-time jobs and many community activities. She travels around the country to visit children and grandchildren, the newest of whom lives in Lake Forest, IL. Ellie sees Nancy Wind Ross, who lives nearby.

Chuck and I enjoyed a three-week car trip through Boulder and Denver, CO, Minnetonka, MN, and Troy, MI. We visited our daughters, a stepdaughter and her family, and our son. While in Boulder, I attended the International Conference of the “99s,” an organization of women pilots.
