Betty Carpenter Evans and Edie Barbour Lauver are always in touch. They attended the Skidmore club of Tucson’s brunch in November. Betty is planning on attending Reunion, and Edie will have to evaluate her health status before making a decision.

Jill Shelling Remy, who has been living in China for a decade, finds it hard to believe that another class reunion is upon us. She would love to stay in touch via
e-mail at chinajill1998@yahoo.com.

Judy Rice Vandegriff and husband John flew to the European Center for Nuclear Energy Research in Switzerland in September, for the first test of its large collider. It accelerates subproton particles at nearly the speed of light, to simulate the Big Bang that is believed to have created our universe. While in Europe, the Vandegriffs also visited Milan and Florence. Judy loves to shop and arrived in Milan just before the big fall fashion shows—“Yummy,” she says. She is teaching three sections of online political-science courses for the University Maryland University College.

Cyndy Wallace Bernart and Bill moved to Raleigh, NC, to be closer to two of their children.
