Since 1999 Peter Chandler has been living in Santa Fe, NM, with son Dylan, 14, a high-school freshman. Peter founded his own contracting business (deckandchair.com), which is approaching its 10th year. In his leisure time, Peter (PeterChandler7@­comcast.net) likes working on his golf game, and tearing up SkiSantaFe.

Lisa Freedman was appointed a director at Albany County Department of Social Services, where she has worked for almost 23 years. Her major areas of responsibility are nutrition and energy programs. Lisa lives in the Albany area with her life partner, Meg. They visit Saratoga often.

Susan Modlin Markowitz was sorry to have missed Reunion. She lives in Baltimore, MD, with husband Jay and their children Caroline, 19, a sophomore lacrosse player at Princeton University, Jonathan, 16, and Sarah, 14.

Christina Campanaro Juarez’s daughter, Sofia Paloma, 17, is a senior at the
Hewitt School in Manhattan; she is applying to Skidmore this year. Christina recently spoke to Mike Signore, who lives in Albany, and Roger Griswold. Roger’s young son Roger is entering nursery school, middle child Olivia is applying to boarding school, and eldest child Caroline is in her second year at boarding school.

Barrie Davidson Deschaine was sorry she couldn’t make it to Reunion. She and husband Carl were traveling in Spain and Portugal at the time. Barrie volunteers for Skidmore as an alumni admissions correspondent. She holds a PR position at Konover Construction Corporation, where she has worked for more than 22 years.

Leslie Francis Curialle’s son, Anthony, in his first year at Gil St. Bernard’s School in Gladston, NJ. Leslie volunteers for the school’s theater department, which is staging Into the Woods this spring. She has also taken an assistant-teaching job at a nearby school, to be closer to her son (St. Bernard’s is an hour and a half from their home). Leslie says working with 3-year-olds is not as scary as she thought it would be.

Claire Mason Lubowsky and her husband celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. After 15 years in NYC, they moved to Warrenton, VA, in 1998 with daughters Margot, 16, and Cassandra, 12. Claire is a soccer and volleyball mom as well as a local representative for Cultural Care Au Pair. She encourages classmates to look her up when in the neighborhood.

Burnell Shively is director of marketing and business development for Bioceutica, a multinational firm that sells customized pharmaceutical-grade health and beauty supplements. Burnell, who is helping the firm establish a new headquarters complex in Switzerland, calls her job “a challenge and a pleasure.” She is also creating a Web site for her voice-over work, which includes TV, radio, and talking books. Burnell lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with her dog and cat. Daughter Morgan, 17, is completing her second-year international baccalaureate in French and English in Lyon, France. Daughter Cleo is a sophomore at Emma Willard in Troy, NY.

Lorin Butler DiBenedetto is CEO of Beach Limousines, a 27-vehicle fleet that she runs with her life partner, Danny. The couple just celebrated their 10th anniversary. Her oldest child is a college freshman. Lorin would love to hear from any old friends at Lorinbeth@aol.com.

Chronic pain forced Jocelyn Little out of her field as an associate herpetologist and into poverty, but she is working hard to change for the better. She is in the process of painting and renovating her parents’ home and plans to sell it this year.

Gwendolyn Jones Boeve has been doing conservation and restoration work on Picasso’s Portrait of Dora Mar from 1947, Pierre Bonnard’s Landscape, and Gauguin’s Head of a Tahitian Girl. Gwendolyn and her husband have two sons: Tristan and Ryan live in the Netherlands, where the family moved in 1991. A horse named Big and a dog, Pip, round out the family. Gwendolyn, who restored portraits of Dutch monarchs and the works of Salvador Dali, has been called to work on the national collections housed in the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam, and is a member of the Rotterdam Museum board of directors. She has also worked on private collections and is often featured on Dutch television.

In my family, son Ryan, 11, was in day camp all summer; Jason, 17, spent a month in Hungary learning the language and meeting relatives; and daughter Danielle, 18, competed in horse shows with her horse, Bella. Danielle is a freshman at Sonoma State University. We are in the midst of college applications with Jason, who hopes to go somewhere in Boston. Life in California is great!
