Matt Berger and wife Kate welcomed son Thomas on August 11; he joins twins Adam and Sarah, 4.
David Elsemore and wife Jen Gow Elsemore ’88 are enjoying life in the Portland, ME, area. Eldest son Caleb is “officially a teenager” and seems to enjoy reminding his parents of the fact daily. Brian, 11, and Lauren, 8, are doing well. David continues at IDEXX Laboratories, managing a group of scientists developing veterinary diagnostic products.
Holly Mandel Scherr and husband David live in Scarsdale, NY, with kids Matthew 9, Emily, 8, and identical twins Hannah and Julia, 6. Holly’s busy life revolves around their many school and outside activities. The couple is also heavily involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Diabetes Research Institute. Matthew was diagnosed with type-1 insulin-dependent diabetes at age 6. The family completed the Juvenile Diabetes Research Walk in White Plains, NY, helping to raise $11,000.
Holly saw Robin Karofsky Malasky in Florida last fall and reports that Robin is doing well and has two great kids, Hannah and Max. Holly sees Sloane Merl Worth all the time, as they have kids in the same elementary school. Holly also stays in touch with Alix Posner Lieberman and Harold Herz.
The last of the “Broads of Broadway” got married in September in Seattle, WA. Kim Davis married Brandon Koeller on Puget Sound surrounded by Randi Sidman Moore, of Miami, FL, with husband Roland and daughters Danielle, 7, and Skyler, 5; Mary Ellen Maloney of Pittsburgh, PA, with husband Jeff Woods and daughters Madeleine, 4, and Tess, 2; Alix Hart of San Diego, CA, and her husband Mark Wheeler; and Laura Kingsbury Rime of New City, NY, with husband Nelson and kids
Julian, 3, and Lucy, 6. Other Skiddies in attendance were Judy Fisher Sadoff of St. Louis, MO, and her two kids, and Raymond Yu. The Skidmore girls got together for drinks and pizza the day before while the husbands were off playing pinball. It was the first time the group had all gotten together since 2002. Randi had a show featuring her photography in the fall. Mel is doing private mental-health practice. Alix is creating original jewelry for retail outlets and individual clients. Laura is home full-time with two kids, enjoying the suburban life. She sees Bob Killebrew, who lives in Baltimore, MD, and is working in a financial-services firm. Newlywed Kim was thrilled to gain stepdaughter Kiara, 4.
