Natasha Banta McDermott recently moved to Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, after nearly 17 years in San Francisco. Husband John and their children Shane, Maya, and Cian, are adjusting to East Coast life and enjoy being much closer to their parents in Connecticut and Ireland. Finally, they are getting some sorely missed free babysitting. They urge classmates to give a holler when traveling in the area or contact Natasha at mcbanta@yahoo.com.

Todd Wardlaw moved to Colorado shortly after graduating and now runs his own national sales resourcing solutions organization.

Scott Bornstein spoke at a Wall Street 101 session hosted by Skidmore’s career services. Visiting the campus and Saratoga Springs “was a blast.” Hitting the Skidmore Shop to outfit son Jonah and daughter Aviva in the latest Skidmore apparel was one of the many highlights of the weekend. Scott met up with Neal Greenberg for dinner during a recent business trip to NYC. Scott and wife Rosalie hosted Harriet Kornfeld for a Shabbat dinner where they shared many great stories.

Amy Ritz married Glenn Hourigan this past year. Son Finn joined big brothers Sam and Henry Drescher on October 5. Amy (arhourigan@gmail.com) is a full-time freelance writer.
Justin Model keeps racing in triathlon after triathlon, most recently in Malibu. It was the first time that employer Accenture created an able-bodied team to support the Challenged Athletes Foundation, with over 15 Accenture people racing alongside CAF-supported athletes. A special highlight for Justin was crossing the finish line, turning around and giving a high-five to fellow triathelete Jennifer Lopez, who was very nice and said thank you. When the paparazzi surrounded them, he found himself behind J-Lo and Mark Anthony. If you see photos of the race, look for the CAF visor to see our friend Justin!

Speaking of racing, Victoria Rubin Stofsky ran the Boston, New York, and Miami marathons this year!

Meredith Phelan Hays is a literary agent in NYC, where she lives with husband Reed and son Henry.

Midge Raymond’s short-story collection, Forgetting English, published by Washington University Press in November, received the Spokane Prize for Short Fiction. Midge’s Web site is www.midgeraymond.com.

Kimberly Lasher Mitchell lives in Seattle, WA, with husband Tim and children Zoe, 7, and Van, 3. She works at the Gates Foundation and is happy to live around the corner from Maritza Rivera and her family.

David Sackar married his “lovely and wonderful wife Dana” in 2005 in Telluride, CO, where they are now living. The couple welcomed their first child, Maia Isabelle, into their family this past July. Prior to the move, David was in commercial real-estate development and management in Chicago with brother Michael ’94, and completed an MBA at the University of Chicago. A physical and cranial-sacral therapist, Dana ran her own company, Body Wellness in Chicago.

Melissa Parodi Essigman lives on Long Island with husband Phil and children Ryan, 8, and Lucas, 6. This year she went back to work part-time at Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School after eight years as a stay-at-home mom.

Matt Galvin and wife Michelle are living happily in the Seattle area with their four children, Nico, 8, Gracie, 5, Luca 3, and Joseph, 1. Matt says to look him up if you are in the area.

I was recently joined by a new business partner, Gabrielle Gallucci. Together we are growing the grantwinners.net business with almost alarming speed! I am in Saco, ME, with husband Josh and daughter Maya, 5. When sending e-mail, please put “Skidmore Scope” in the subject line. This will help me keep track of all your updates!
