Mara Feld graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a PhD in molecular and environmental toxicology and is a postdoctoral fellow in the department of biology at Boston University. She is studying how environmental pollutants can interfere with androgen-dependent signaling in fish and turtles.
Rena Strober released her debut CD, Finding Home, this past summer and continues doing promotional concerts. Produced by Joachim Horsley ’00, it’s available at www.renastrober.com or on iTunes. Rena also performs readings of a few new Broadway shows, sings at the Friar’s Club weekly, and tries to spend time with Lisa Perry, Lea Bender-Heine, and new mom Allison Goldstein Gutstein.
Lauren Kazanoff married Chris Zanelli on June 15 in Basking Ridge, NJ. Skidmore alums in attendance were Justin Bazar, Alana Reed Katz, Stephanie Fagenson, Ben Rubenstein, and Tricia Placido ’99. Lauren and Chris live in Battery Park City in Manhattan.
Jeb Gorham and Kristen Blaker ’01 welcomed son Greyson on April 8.

Tracey DeLong married Brett Belcastro, whom she met in Atlanta, GA, on October 10. Tory Neff and Megan Hnatow were on hand to celebrate. Tracey and Brett have a 9-month-old son Rocco, a Lab named Rubi, and a cat named Chandler. Tracey loved catching up with people at our 10th reunion.
Lauren Mirsky Benjamin and her husband, Robert, welcomed daughter Mia last February 6.
George Crimmins and wife Kathy welcomed second son Harry in March. George is an environmental attorney in New Jersey.
Merry Pettingell Coyle and husband Nelson announce the September 5 birth of son Griffin; he joins brother Clay, 3, at their home in Glen Ellyn, IL.
