Elsa Thum Lutz flew to California to visit her son and daughter-in-law and then drove south to spend time with her granddaughter. Elsa has vowed to do no more traveling; from now on, her children can come to her!

Martin Carson, son of Ellen Graney Carson, who died in June, shared some memories: “My mother was devoted to Skidmore. I know she encouraged over the years a number of young people to attend. She would often visit Saratoga, where I live, and tour the old and new campuses. In fact, in her early 80s, she took my sons to the Skidmore summer basketball camp.” Ellen will surely be missed by the many people whose lives she touched.
