PJ Rosenthal was promoted to detective and cyber-crimes lead investigator for the Palm Beach County School District Police Department. Working with a multiagency task force seeking out and arresting child pornographers, he says, “is the most rewarding and the most disturbing job I have held in my career. Every time a piece of child pornography is viewed, that child becomes a victim again.” PJ completed his second MS150 bike marathon, finishing 51st among the top 151 money-raisers. He rode for Martha Grace of Pennsylvania, the mother of a teacher from one of his schools. PJ’s son Michael was written up in the Sun Sentinel. A dedicated hospital volunteer, he hopes to attend West Point and study trauma medicine with the goal of becoming an ER doctor. Daughter Sydney is a high school freshman in a Scripps-associated biotech program; she wants to pursue DNA research for genetic diseases. PJ’s wife, Ina, teaches middle school math and, according to PJ, “does a damn fine job of it; her test scores continue to go up!”
