Awarded first place for best humorous column writing by the Colorado Press Association in 2006, she also earned honors in the same category in 2008 and 2009. She is a former talent executive and producer for NBC (part of the Emmy-winning team that produced Saturday Night Live’s 25th anniversary special in 1999), and for VH1, Oxygen, and HBO. In addition to her work in television, Carroll worked for a time in feature films, including The Bone Collector with Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. |
