Meredith Cohen Carroll is a blogger for the Huffington Post and writes weekly columns for the Aspen Times, Summit Daily News, and Santa Monica Daily Press. Awarded first place for best humorous column writing by the Colorado Press Association in 2006, she also earned honors in the same category in 2008 and 2009. She is a former talent executive and producer for NBC (part of the Emmy-winning team that produced Saturday Night Live’s 25th anniversary special in 1999), and for VH1, Oxygen, and HBO. In addition to her work in television, Carroll worked for a time in feature films, including The Bone Collector with Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.

In September film composer Nathan Barr released a new CD, True Blood, the featured soundtrack on season one of the HBO series of the same name.
