Brian Cugell and Morgan Cadwell ’06 and were married August 22 in Middletown, CT. Cari Duga ’06 and Shauna Covel ’07 were bridesmaids, and Erin Doyle, Sarah Luckenbach, and Steven Schoenfeld also attended. Morgan and Brian live at Avon Old Farms School in Avon, CT. Morgan is the editor of the school’s alumni magazine and a faculty advisor to the student newspaper. Brian is a history and Spanish teacher who also coaches soccer, basketball, and tennis.

Monet Cruz is living in Manhattan’s financial district with Chris Ryan. She is an assistant casting director in Chelsea.

Lauren Roberts was appointed Saratoga County’s new historian. Among her first discoveries was a book of the county’s poorhouse records dating back to the mid-1800s, which she found in a basement vault. She is also part-time historian for the Adirondack town of Day.

Lisa Hillberg enjoyed a relaxing summer following Reunion. She is engaged to Christopher Craig, her boyfriend of five years.

Meryl Kenny completed a PhD in politics and international relations at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, last spring. In March she married Joshua Makaruk in her hometown of Minneapolis, MN. Virginia Berry (yazberry.com) designed her wedding outfit. Meryl and Josh live in Edinburgh, where she is a postdoctoral fellow at the university. Josh’s latest play recently debuted at Glasgow’s Tron Theatre.

Since graduation Christina Olivia has circumnavigated the lower 48 states in her car with Jasmine Alvarado and Jorie Pollak. During her travels in 2005, she thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail (northbound) and was an environmental educator for Nature’s Classroom in Greenfield, NH, and Ivoryton, CT, the Group for the East End in NYC, and the Harris Center for Conservation Education in Han­cock, NH. Christina completed a master’s degree in environmental eduation and an elementary teacher certification at Antioch University New England in Keene, NH, last May. She was married on August 8 to Jack Rodolico (Prescott College). In attendance were Vane Becidyan Broussard ’02, Laura Martin ’02, Ellie Forseter ’03, Jess Bieber, Jocelyn Arem, Jorie Pollak, Emily Mastellone-Synder ’05, and Jonathan Greene ’07. The couple lives on Mount Desert Island in Maine.

Steven Belew and Rachel Rose Arnheiter were married September 19 at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs, NY. Bridesmaids included Jill Gadkowski and Meera Sankar. Also there were Eleanor Halgren, Sarah Nelson, Jessica Rafferty, Sara Kravetz, Markland Walker, Neil Bryant, Seth McEachron, and Brian Dubenion, as well as Skidmore staff and faculty members Carol Spring, Desiree Palmateer, Susan Kress, and Susan Layden. The newlyweds live and work in Atlanta, GA; Steven is a corporate attorney, and Rachel is a freelance copywriter.

Micah Sloat has been working in film and music for the past few years and most recently starred in the hit film Paranormal Activity. Some of his original songs are featured on the movie’s soundtrack. Micah is also a member of the Westminster Chorus, winners of the 2009 Choir of the World competition in Llangollen, Wales.

Heather Drabek graduated from Cleve­land-Marshall College of Law in 2008. She passed both the Ohio and New York Bar exams and is licensed to practice in both states. She is practicing immigration law (business, family, and criminal) as an as­sociate at David Wolfe Leopold & Associates in Cleveland.

Jocelyn Tunney and Catherine Gagnon Osborn ’02 run hand-knitting yarn wholesale companies in Philadelphia, PA. Kate is co-owner of Kelbourne Woolens, which wholesales the Fibre Company yarns, and is working on a book for Interweave Knits. Jocelyn is associate director of Fairmount Fibers, which wholesales the yarns of Manos del Uruguay, a women’s free-trade cooperative. Jocelyn says, “We are excited to help promote their amazing work!” She and Kate work out of the same office, running day-to-day business operations, designing garments for knitting patterns, and doing layout production.

Last summer I completed my PhD in medical nutrition sciences at Boston University School of Medicine, said good-bye to Boston, became a first-time home-buyer, and started a new position as a postdoctoral fellow in nutritional sciences at Penn State. On August 1, I married Ross MacLean in the Finger Lakes region of New York. I had a wonderful time and was lucky to have Rachel Bershatsky Greene as a bridesmaid. I am glad to have a little more time now to relax at home in State College, PA.
