- Ethnomusicologist, performer, and educator Joseph Alpar explores the intertwined histories of Jews, Muslims, and Christians in the Ottoman Empire through music at a free performance at Arthur Zankel Music Center, Saturday, Nov. 16.
- Ensemble Connect, a group of young professional classical musicians based out of Carnegie Hall, is returning for their biannual residency. Their Oct. 25 performance will spotlight the music of South Africa and include a South African Kwela celebration in collaboration with students.
- For two decades, Skidmore students and faculty put their own creative spins on Beatles classics. Now, they're expanding the playlist as they reimagine Skidmania, a quintessential Skidmore tradition.
