With the help of alumni mentors and experiential learning at Skidmore, Vermont native and former student-athlete Paige Karl ’24 has transformed a lifelong interest in the environment into a corporate sustainability role in New York City.
Architect Gregory Kahn Melitonov ’04 describes how Skidmore’s creative, interdisciplinary approach continues to shape his socially driven, community-centered design work.
“Tingwon,” installed just outside the College’s Saisselin Art Building, was gifted to the College by sculptor Fitzhugh Karol ’04 and marks a meaningful full-circle moment in his career — an offering to the institution that helped shape him.
